Medicinal properties of turmeric

INTERNAL USE

  • Blood thinner: Turmeric helps treat circulatory problems and, as a result, reduce the risk of stroke and heart attack.

  • Antioxidant: Turmeric is used in the prevention of cell aging.

EXTERNAL USE

  • Antibacterial and anti-inflammatory, turmeric can be applied as a poultice to treat pathologies such as eczema, psoriasis or mycoses.

Use of turmeric in the treatment of adenomyosis

It regresses adenomyosis. The form concentrated in curcumin and accompanied by Curcumaxx-type piperine is easy to take and effective. This form is taken at a rate of 1 tablespoon in a little water 2 to 3 times a day.

- Bring two cups of water to a boil and add a teaspoon of turmeric and ginger powder and a tablespoon of honey and lemon juice.
- Drink this solution once a day until you get rid of the problem.

If you want to take the "plain" form (turmeric powder in capsules or in bulk), you need 6-8g per day to get a noticeable anti-inflammatory effect (to be taken with meals) - that is quite a few capsules. You can also take turmeric capsules (300 mg) three times a day. It will slowly eliminate your adenomyosis.

Use and dosage of turmeric

DOSAGE

- In powder, the daily consumption of turmeric can vary between 1.5 and 3 g, or approximately the equivalent of a teaspoon.

- An infusion is prepared in ten to fifteen minutes with 1.5 or 2 g of turmeric-infused in 150 ml of boiling water. The dosage is two cups each day.

- Regarding the tincture, the daily dosage is 10 ml.

- A poultice can be prepared by mixing turmeric powder with a little water.

- In case of inflammation, a standardized extract of curcuminoids can be taken, 300 or 400 mg three times a day.

Precautions for use of turmeric

If turmeric has never presented harmful effects, as a precaution, consumption in high doses is not recommended for pregnant women. Moreover, always in high doses, turmeric can irritate the mucous membranes; therefore, people with gastric ulcers should use it with caution.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Turmeric is contraindicated in the event of obstruction of the bile ducts, by stones for example. Avoid turmeric remedies if you are taking blood-thinning medications.

Turmeric has no side effects on humans.

INTERACTIONS WITH MEDICINAL PLANTS OR COMPLEMENTS
